Now that I’m a Bahá’Ă,

And you want to discuss these issues with another Bahá’Ă who:

10 month impasse broken After 10 months of intense consultation between my wife and I regarding the development of a 5 year plan for our lives we had made no progress. In a teleconference with Susan Gammage that lasted a little over an hour, the impasse was broken and my wife and I were able to make significant progress. Thank-you Susan. (Kelly Barr, Canada) |

Entire experience was ordained by God Susan is wonderful in every way. There were times when I found myself frustrated because I didn’t understand something, but Susan, with her sweet demeanor, helped me remain positive. Would I recommend Susan? Absolutely! Susan is wonderful, relatable and helpful. I could not have asked for a better coach. I feel as though this entire experience was ordained by God, because she and I connected instantly and I knew she was determined to help me succeed. (Janka Kozicova, Slovakia) |

Without you I wouldn’t have gotten back on track I really have nothing but praise for your coaching, especially as without you I am sure I wouldn’t have gotten back on track! (Allison Ramirez, El Salvador) |

Effortless ability to spiritually companion whoever she is engaged with Susan is part of an intimate group of friends who retreat together 2-3 times a year. We experience her skills regularly and have named her Susan Arrow due to her effortless ability to spiritually companion whoever she is engaged with no matter the issue. She has a delightful, consistent, gentle way of directing one towards their own truth. We call her Susan Arrow and we highly recommend her. (Vicki Raymond, Canada) |

Encouraged me in the things I was good at Susan had a positive twist on all her feedback, and encouraged me in the things I was good at. If there was something I needed to work on she would give me an example of a correct way to do it. She made it clear that there wasn’t one set way of doing things, but that creativity and new research is always a part teaching. She helped me gain confidence in my abilities. She was very personable and easy to relate to. I felt comfortable asking her questions. She always got back to me in a timely manner. Would I recommend her? Absolutely, with all my heart, yes! (Brittany Van der Werken, Greece) |
Sometimes in order to move forward in life, you need someone who can challenge you, hold you accountable, help you to focus, provide inspiration, support and direction, act as a sounding board or simply provide validation, ideas and strategies. A Life Coach can do all of these, in order to turn your dreams into goals and your goals into reality.
Life Coaching is a rapidly growing profession that is profoundly different from consulting, mentoring, advice, therapy, or counseling. The coaching process addresses specific personal projects, business successes, general conditions and transitions in your personal life, relationships or profession by looking at what’s going on right now, discovering your obstacles or challenges, and choosing a course of action to make your life whatever you want it to be.
A Life Coach can help you
- figure out what to do next
- motivate you to make a plan, stick to it, and get results.
Having the assistance of a professional life coach can help get you moving forward, past whatever has got you stuck, and coach you to greater success in almost any area — your spiritual life, relationships, career, physical fitness, and life in general.
3.What is Bahá’Ă-inspired life coaching and how is it different?
Bahá’Ă-inspired life coaching starts every session with prayer, puts God first and uses the teachings of the Bahá’Ă Faith as the foundation of all it’s services. It’s learning how to apply the divine remedy to your life situation.
For more information, please visit: http://www.bahai.org/faq/facts/bahai_faith
5.Do I have to be a member of the Bahá’Ă Faith to use your services?
We work with everyone, regardless of their religion!
6.Will I be pressured to become a Bahá’Ă if I’m not one already?
The Bahá’Ă Faith teaches:
Consort with people of all religions with spirituality and fragrance. (’Abdul-Bahá)
And
If religion should prove to be the cause of enmity and hatred instead of love,
its absence is preferable to its existence. (’Abdul-Bahá)
Religious and spiritual beliefs are very personal. It would be unethical for a Bahá’Ă coach to preach to or try to convert you to specific religious or spiritual beliefs. Instead, we work with your own beliefs, encouraging you to expand your understanding and apply those teachings as guidelines for your own decision-making and actions.
7.Who is Susan Gammage and what does she bring to the coaching relationship?
Since 1996, I have assisted people just like you, to look inside to find solutions to their problems, using a combination of prayer and consultation. Building rapport and developing a meaningful connection with people comes easily and quickly for me, and many friends refer to me as “Susan Arrow” for my ability to quickly zoom in on what needs to be heard. In addition:
I am able to temporarily set aside my needs and goals in the interest of helping you meet yours.
I appreciate how everyone is different and I enjoy helping you find your own unique solutions.
I am a good listener and strive to be non-judgmental and non-critical.
I have a strong sense of values and strive to act with integrity in both my personal and business life.
I have good instincts and intuition that I rely on to guide me, especially in times of challenge and great stress.
I feel relatively balanced and I am consistently working on my own personal growth.
People like to share their dreams and challenges with me, and they often look to me for support and wisdom.

Always so quick to respond Thank you Susan! I want you to know how much I appreciate your hard work, motivation and friendship. Thank you, too, for checking on me. You are always so quick to respond. You have been such a blessing to me and I am so grateful to know you and to have your feedback on my work. I would love to keep in touch. Thank you for everything, I just can’t think of words that say enough how thankful I am for you. (Bethany Kent, Costa Rica) |
8.Who would benefit from your coaching service?
Most of us have (or will) find ourselves stuck at some point in our lives – stuck in a career, relationship, or negative cycle or pattern of behavior that keeps us from achieving, growing, and going after what really makes us happy! Unfortunately, it is often difficult to have a clear and accurate perspective with which to make decisions.
If you’re pretty well together, but have some hurdles you’d like to get over—then you may be a good candidate for coaching. Coaching works best with high-achievers who want to be higher achievers. Coaching is great for people successful in most aspect of their lives—who have one or two areas that they just can’t get a handle on.
For coaching to be successful, you need to want to change and be willing to look at yourself in ways you may not have done previously.
If you’re not sure if it would work for you, give us a call and discuss your personal situation.
Our primary goal is always to be of service in ways that are respectful and make sense to you.
We believe that:
- you are the only one in your life who truly knows who you are and what you need.
- you already know the answers to your problems even if those answers appear to be obscured, concealed or hidden inside. We help you bring them to the surface and have them acknowledged.
- you have an inner guidance system that knows what’s best for you and can support you to be on purpose in your life. We help you listen for that voice and know how to act on its wisdom.
We know the questions to ask
and have the tools and techniques to empower you
to find those answers within yourself.
Our goal is to:
- provide a confidential, safe place to speak your truth, without judgment or attachment to outcomes
- ask you some tough questions
- provide a guiding light for you to discover your very own insight
- help you discover what it is that you really want and feel confident enough to go after it
- help you become aware of the negative patterns of behavior which hold you back
- help re-frame your thoughts
- call your attention to the messages you send yourself about yourself and / or about others
- give you a fresh perspective from an objective point of view
- identify the endless possibilities that are available all around you
- get you past what has you stuck
- remove inner blocks so you can attain your goals
- help you find the courage to release resistance and remain focused on what you want
- provide individualized sessions which can be customized to your needs
- give you the boost you need to get moving
- help you see progress in the shortest possible time
- give your life direction, momentum, energy, and purpose

An excellent teacher who sees things the student doesn’t see Susan was always very fast with her response and the feedback was most of the times very useful. She helped me a lot. She also was very enthusiastic and motivated me a lot! Because of all the good reactions I had from her it made me do the course more intensively and better. I was really into it! Thanks for always the good and positive remarks. I would recommend her to anyone. She was a good help and a good motivator with good and adequate feedback! She did a great job, as a motivator, a good feedbacker and a good corrector! An excellent teacher who sees things the student doesn’t see. (Lind Bussens, Belgium) |
10.What are some common benefits of Bahá’Ă-inspired Life Coaching ?
This is different for each client, but often people report:
- increasing self confidence and assertiveness.
- developing intuition.exploring new possibilities.
- identifying and removing barriers.
- increasing awareness to one’s values, vision and purpose.
- defining goals and identifying priorities by focusing on what really matters.
- getting out of your comfort zone and enhancing potential for growth.
- creating movement towards the course of one’s life.
- identifying the gaps of what is and what could be.
- gaining momentum which helps with consistency in sticking to a plan and staying on the track.
- improving communication in personal relationships and at work.
- developing skills for conflict resolution.
- making choices and implementing them.
11.How is coaching different from therapy?
Coaching derives itself from a number of disciplines like sociology, psychology, career counseling and numerous other types of counselling. But where it differs from these is the quest for results. To put it simply, coaching involves focusing on action.
Coaching has its goals set in the future rather than the past. It’s about “what you want” and not “why you are like this”.
Susan Gammage does not provide medical advice and her coaching is not intended to be a substitute for medical treatment or therapy.
12.How is coaching different from talking to a friend?
Talking with a friend may be helpful, but coaching offers undistracted listening that is non-judgmental, trusting, honest, and exceptionally objective. The questions We pose challenges your spoken words and delves into the real meaning of what is being heard. We are a resource with a large tool kit to assist you in developing and pursuing your vision so that you achieve positive, permanent results.
13.Why would I use a Bahá’Ă-inspired Life Coach?
- You want to work with someone who shares your belief system
- You’ve tried doing it on your own, and it hasn’t worked.
- You are overwhelmed by things that need to be done, and don’t have the energy
- You need to stop wasting time on meaningless detail
- You want more success at work, and in your relationships
- You want to move up and perform better in your career
- You want to lose weight, get fit, and feel better about your body
- You need to get yourself, your stuff, and your life organized
- You want to finish (or start) a big project
- You need a plan, and you need help sticking to it
- You’ve tried doing it on your own – and it hasn’t worked!
We don’t think twice about taking care of our bodies. We are willing to go to the gym, get a personal trainer, and exercise in all kinds of weather at all hours of the day. We go to great lengths to look good, smell good and dress well. Yet, we sometimes balk at doing the same with our minds. After all, a healthy body includes a healthy mind.
An easy, gentle, non-threatening, effective way to take care of our minds is somewhat similar to sports coaching - it supports, guides, questions, motivates, aligns, sets goals, and leads you to feel good about yourself. The main difference is that it does all those things for the mind. It allows you to figure out which direction and what actions are appropriate so that you will get exactly what you want. It has been likened to having a Personal Trainer for the mind.
Through coaching, goals are set, experiences are actualized, motivation is examined, and important questions are raised which lead to taking steps (action) towards reaching your desired goal. It is a way for you to discover what needs must be met and what is necessary for you to fulfill those needs.
How often have you said
- I’ll get to that
- I should get out of this job
- I should tell my boss how I really feel
- I should be able to find someone for a relationship.
When we use the word “should”, the motivation comes from the outside (what you believe others think is correct or right for you—not necessarily what will actually work for you). Through Bahá’Ă-inspired Life Coaching, you can explore ideas, try new ways of doing things, and express yourself in a supportive and guiding environment.
Coaching is about helping you get what you want!
It provides tools to help you discover new opportunities; it gives you solutions while creating “shifts.” (Shifts are new viewpoints with the same circumstances.) By shifting your perspective, you discover new opportunities and solutions which, in turn, create instant change. The one-on-one relationship with a Coach is about personal excellence.
Usually, there are more solutions to a problem than we believe. We tend to think it’s either “A” or “B” because we’re stuck with an idea about the solution. Fortunately, a Coach can introduce an alternate option “C”, intended to open up new ways to view the same situation that could include combining “A” and “B”, since it doesn’t have to be an “either / or” choice.
Usually, however, it takes someone “on the outside” to introduce another possibility.
14.How is the focus of Bahá’Ă-inspired coaching different?
- It will be based on:
- focusing the mirror of your heart on God, through changing your thought processes.
- applying specific Writings to your situation
- acquiring virtues for the development of the soul
- identifying teaching and service-oriented activities in your community, with a focus on participating in the goals of each plan (study circles, devotional gatherings, pre-youth programs and children’s classes)
15.What are the unique features of Susan Gammage Coaching and Education Services?
“Religion is verily the chief instrument for the establishment of order in
the world, and of tranquility among its peoples.”
Bahá’u'lláh , Epistle to the Son of the Wolf, p. 28.
The worldwide Bahá’Ă community may well be the most diverse and widespread body of people on earth. It is also among the world’s most unified organizations, a feature that is perhaps its most distinguishing characteristic. Bahá’Ăs the world over come from all religious backgrounds: Buddhist, Christian, Hindu, Jain, Jew, Muslim, Sikh, Zoroastrian, animist, and non-religious. Yet they study a common set of sacred writings, observe a unifying code of religious laws, and look to a single international administrative system for continuing guidance.(http://www.bahai.org/article-1-6-0-1.html)
Bahá’Ăs are members of a global moral community, striving to adhere to a divinely ordained standard of virtuous conduct, to establish an Order for the unification of humanity and to achieve unity in spirit and in action which is the key to success. This standard is open rather than exclusive, embracing like-minded people of all races and religions.
A moral community is essential for economic development as virtually all worthwhile economic activity is carried out by groups of people with shared moral values. The world embracing principles of the Bahá’Ă writings empower people from diverse cultures and religious denominations to trust each other and work together to continuously develop enterprises based on understanding, accepting and applying the spiritual principle paradigm and the core enterprise principles. In this way, the power and capabilities of groups of people working together in unity far exceed the sum or their individual efforts, their enterprises prosper and humanity progresses.
On a practical level, this means:
- Bahá’u’lláh’s teachings are the backbone of everything we do. We will never compromise or water down Bahá’u’lláh’s remedy to make it more palatable.
- the quotes themselves provide you with concrete “attitude adjustments” or new ways of seeing your issues. This results in changes in behaviour.
- we consciously adhere to human virtues in everything we do
- we recognize that different people, in different communities and countries will need different approaches and different solutions to similar needs. You will be consulted with, respected and listened to, and products will be enhanced based on your feedback.
- you are seen as a “mine rich in gems of inestimable value” and work to uncover your gems
- your focus is on the present and future.
- your progress in all of your goals, including the areas of virtues development, teaching and service is monitored and acknowledged regularly.

Balanced perspective Thank you for the sense of calm you bring me when we talk, and your balanced perspective. (Alison Richmond, Canada) |
16.What are your expectations of the people you coach?

- apply self-discipline in the setting, working towards and reporting on weekly teaching, service and virtues goals
- focus on the positive and maintain an attitude of gratitude.

A true gem among stones. Sometimes I think I am completely off track and then you keep me motivated in the smallest ways! You are the best coach I could ask for :). You are very special and not just “another coach” but a friend. Thank you once again for all your comments and the inspiration that you send in between the lines of your e-mails. Thank you always for your kind and positive words. You are a true gem among stones. (Astrid Schwarz, Sudan) |
Paid in advance at the website, via Paypal
We are so confident that you will find value in our coaching that we offer a money-back guarantee.
If for any reason our coaching relationship isn’t effective, our styles don’t match or we don’t deliver what was promised and if you can demonstrate that you have completed all assignments (written and otherwise), attended all scheduled coaching sessions, and have sent us an email outlining one thing we could have/should have done better to keep you as a client, Susan Gammage Coaching and Education Services will reimburse 110% of your coaching fees.
You’ve nothing to lose!
26.Do you give a finder’s fee?
Yes, if you refer someone who signs up for 12 sessions or more, you will get one session free.
If you are ready, willing, and able to put your life into fast forward, write me, and tell me why we should coach you, by completing a brief questionnaire to help us get to know a little about you and what you’re looking for. Schedule a 30 minute “meet and greet” session to determine whether Bahá’Ă-inspired life coaching is something that could give you the push you need to reach your goals and lead a happier, easier, more joy-filled life.
Why waste another day being stuck?
28. What can I expect as I go through coaching?
As you make change, you may experience some of the fear or self-doubt that is often accompanied by it. Loved ones may question your decision. They may attempt to make you feel selfish, guilty, or neglectful. They may not understand why you’ve made the decision that you have. You may need some help in expressing your needs, your fears, and asking for help as they make the changes along with you.
29. What will happen in the first session?
During your first session we’ll review your application, which gives you an opportunity to define what you want, get clear about your goals, and what’s standing in your way. We will discuss your goals and your current situation, and you will get an opportunity to know me a little better.
We’ll explore your satisfaction with your life, and its different domains, and talk about where you’d like to start focusing your energy. We’ll prioritize tasks, and then we’ll come up with an action plan to get you started so you can start getting results right away!
After your first appointment, you can expect to have a greater sense of clarity, a vision of what you’d like to change, and a useful plan to help you start getting what you want.
We want you to be encouraged, excited, and motivated about the process,
your plan, and your results.
30. What if I decide coaching is for me?
Great! If you’re happy with your first session, and you think that what we have to offer is valuable and effective, you will determine what kind of coaching package is best for you, depending on your goals, needs, and how quickly you want to see the results of the changes you desire.
31. What if I decide coaching is NOT for me?
No problem. Life Coaching isn’t for everyone. If after meeting me, you decide you don’t want to continue, you’re under no obligation to continue.
You’ll still have a better vision, a better articulated goal, and some ideas of what you can do to get moving. And we hope that when you ARE ready, and the next time you consider coaching, you’ll come back and let us help you get started on living a life that is fulfilling, satisfying, and above all, moving in a positive direction.
You’ve got everything to gain!
32. How long would we work together?
Through coaching, you can achieve your goals and dreams by breaking them down into smaller more manageable pieces. Each week, you move closer to what you really want
Some people are done in 3 months, and others are looking for 1-2 year partnerships. We’ll normally start with a 3-6 month time frame. We suggest that you stay with us as long as you love the coaching, and the results!
|
The most important thing is I love you so much. I miss you so much, and feel something wrong in my life, I think maybe the reason is that I used to talk with you every week. Oh, there’s one more thing. The most important thing is I love you so much. (Cari Kao, Taiwan) |

- Send us an email at coaching@susangammage.com and we’ll email you a coaching agreement and assessment form to fill out prior to our first meeting.

34. Do you offer free coaching sessions?
Yes, the first session is always free, so you can discuss your needs. After that, you will pre-pay for all sessions. Like everyone else, I have bills to pay and am confident that after just one session, you’ll be pleased with the results and want to continue.
Having said that, I never turn away those who can’t afford my fees. Please discuss your situation with me.
Please schedule a free half-hour consultation with me to answer your
questions and determine what type of program would be best for you.
35.What do you need prior to each session?
You will send me an email stating what you learned since our last session, what actions you completed, what actions you didn’t and what goals you want to work on at our next session.
I like what I hear. Sign me up!

One of the greatest gifts I received from God! She taught me how to accept mistake with humbleness of heart and sprit and learn from it. This I consider the topmost, precious wisdom I learned from her. She always inspires me with high expectations. She demonstrated caring and warm attitudes in her comments and messages, I could even feel a “motherly love and instinct” in her! Her way of coaching me focused on my needs. She’s very enthusiastic, highly flexible and imaginative in her instruction. She gave me high levels of personal comfort. She really empowered me with her positive attitudes toward learning and of life. Her intelligence, competencies with affective considerations for her students made me conclude she’s one of the greatest gifts I received from God! And she’s no other than . . . you my dearest tutor Susan! (Teresita Belarmino, Phillipines) |
